What March Looked Like

Quality time with my favorite twin toddlers.

They are so fun.
They learned to climb on the sofa and ottoman since
last time I watched them. Brave boys!

Donated blood this month

SEUSSICAL!
Whitney and her classmates have been working HARD
for the last three months to pull off Seussical the musical.
Whitney was a Bird Girl.
She did a FANTASTIC job.
It was so fun to see her in action.
The whole cast.

with Joya

with Lauren,
so happy she came out to see
it even though she's transferred out of PGSA.

with Ember,
who did a great job in the ensemble

Her favorite fans!

Happy Glenda and Katelyn could come watch her, too.
Seussical was fantastic, but also exhausting.
There were lots of LONG nights.
I'm happy it's done. :)

After YEARS of living with this stain on the ceiling,
I finally hired someone to come fix it.

This bubbling, too.
Andrew had a work trip scheduled and I thought I
would surprise him and it would be gone when
he came back... but his trip got cancelled bc of COVID.
Oh, well.
He was still very grateful to have it repaired.

Cute Andrew after one of the YW bball games.

We were supposed to go to Universal Studios for Spring Break.
(Also cancelled bc of COVID...)
I told the girls we needed to get in walking shape.
So, we went for a walk around the lake
on a beautiful early-spring day.

It is almost four miles to go around the lake and back.
I was proud of them for hanging in there!
Too bad we won't be walking around Harry Potter
world in the foreseeable future...

Our last combined YW/YM activity before
everything shut down: laser tag at Spare Time. Woo hoo!

More time with my boys.

I got brave and took them to the park.
The walking part was great,
but trying to get them back in the stroller
at the end... was exhausting...

Daffodil time!

I had a great opportunity to accompany Whitney
this year while she performed for Solo MPA.
We got to drive up to Winston to perform in
front of a judge at Wake Forest.
She did FABULOUS, earning a superior rating, 98 out of 100!!!

The beautiful Raleigh Temple.
All temples are closed for now.
So happy we could sneak in one last visit.

So fun to see these two playing Minecraft together.

Pi Day!!

Yummy chicken pot pie dinner.

And grasshopper pie for dessert.

Backyard basketball.

B showing me how he can climb in the second story window...

Not sure how I feel about that...

Backyard firepits are perfect for quarantine nights.

More puzzles.

B got to visit with Ben and Daniel
for a little while. Those boys love
him and B is so good with them.

Andrew asked Brandon to give him a priesthood
blessing before he flew back to Utah.
It was the first time B had given a blessing
and it was a sacred occassion.
Grateful for the Spirit that was in our home
and the promises given to Andrew to help
him through this chaotic time.

Family! Love these guys!

The mostly-empty plane that B flew on.
When his flight was going back to SLC,
there was an EARTHQUAKE.
His flight was on the runway in Atlanta
getting ready to takeoff when they got the news.
Thankfully, they rerouted him to Las Vegas
and a friend came to pick him up.

We love seeing these ducks on our neighborhood walks.

Hot tub time!

Popcorn popping on the trees

Even more puzzles

Andrew and I try to go for a walk or two every day.

There's this tree in our neighborhood that had a
little droplet of water hanging from one of the
branches EVERY time we walked by for
two weeks in a row. I tried to get a pic of it,
but it didn't turn out great.
Now that the leaves have come on, it isn't there anymore.
We were so intrigued by that one little droplet!

Spring is so beautiful.

The girls came with me to watch the boys and
play with Finley one morning.

Gas prices have been plummeting.
On March 21, it was down to $1.40/gal at Sam's club.

Homemade Dole Whips. So good!

Irises are so pretty.

What my calendar looks like on a normal week.

Even busier during tech week for Seussical

And now the calendar is pretty much open every evening.
Andrew has had a lot of calls with the missionaries
who had to return from overseas bc of the virus.
Other than that, we're just hanging out at home.

Whit and I put together these Online Seminary
Survival Kits for my students.
We drove to their homes and ding-dong-ditched them.

They included scriptures for those who had left them here,
journals, and a little white board and dry erase marker.
Those things have all come in very handy for our
video lessons!

Caroline is having fun learning how to start the fire.

Singstar!

Bridget and Kip dropped by these "thanks-a-lot" cookies
with a sweet note. Grateful for friends who serve us.

Tennis date nights are still acceptable social distancing.
Hooray!
We don't get out there very often,
but are so happy when we can play.

More views from around the lake.

We are enjoying our home worship on Sundays.
So thankful that Andrew can bless and pass
the sacrament for us.

By March 30, gas had dropped even more, to $1.16/gal.

Diamond Art--
a fun way to entertain ourselves.
Whit and I enjoy it.
Caroline says it hurts her neck.

Yummy veggies getting ready for lo mein dinner.

Andrew made us chocolate chip cookies
one night for FHE treats.

We've re-discovered Qwixx,
a fun, fast dice game.

We've been studying the Atonement for Easter week.
We even used the white board for some of the chapters.

Whitney folded this book.
Isn't it awesome?
