In Feb, I organized a service project with the eight
Stake Presidents' wives in our coordinating council.
We met in Salisbury and worked on plastic bag sleeping
mats together. It was so fun to meet all of them and get
to know them a little bit.

I didn't get any pics of us together,
but here is the room, ready for working and visiting! :)
Caroline and Sabrina have started
learning some acro yoga moves.
Caroline got showered with awards at
the JMS 2nd quarter awards ceremony:
A Honor Roll
Excellence in Social Studies
Outstanding Achievement in Science
Daffodils!
I love the way they burst up through the
ground when you think it might still be
winter, but it gives me hope for spring.

We're looking at different charter schools for Caroline
to attend next year. We toured Phoenix Academy with
Piper and Angie and stopped at the cutest little bakery afterward.
For YW one night, we heart-attacked some
of the YW that we hadn't seen in a while
so they would know that we missed them.
The girls had a lot of fun making the hearts beforehand.
The cutest valentine's cards from Grandma Sweat!
Sometimes I randomly send Caroline pics of the guinea
pigs in the middle of the day.
On our double date with the Yamniks,
we went out to dinner at Jason's Deli.
We hadn't been there in forever and it was really good.
I ordered a stuffed baked potato.
Look at how big that thing is!
It's like sputnik!
We called it The Football.
Crazy.
Valentine's Dinner at home
Family Super Bowl Party!
Some of our tasty snacks.
Whit did a good job making our charcuterie board. :)
Bumble and Scoot
We had them predict the winner of the Super Bowl.
Both piggies picked the Rams.
And they were right!
Woo hoo!
WARNING: Graphic post-surgery pics ahead
Andrew had his two-week post-surgery
appointment to get his cast off.
We finally got to see his leg.
He had a bunch of stitches on his calf.
We didn't realize they also operate on his calf
muscle to help prevent this achilles problem in the future.
And then a whole SLEW of stitches on the
back of his ankle. Sheesh!
The doctor was really happy with how the recovery is going so far.
They put him in a walking boot and he's supposed
to slowly start putting weight on it,
letting pain be his guide.
Stretching.

YW activity
Care Bear was also chosen as a Student of the Quarter at school.
Woo hoo!
And Whit got the official notification that
she got her full-tuition scholarship to Dixie
(soon to be Utah Tech University).
St. George, here she comes!
Icy trees
There's a popular word game online right now called Wordle.
Grandma Sweat introduced us to it and all of us enjoy it.
For our activity for FHE one night, Whit had us to
our own home-made version of Wordle. You get up to
six tries to guess a five-letter word.
They guess mine in 3.
And Drew's in 3.
It took us 5 to guess Care Bear's.
And 4 to guess Whit's.
So fun!
We had a ward talent show.
It was so much fun!
Kristen Skidmore was in charge of the program
and decorations and she did a fantastic job.
I love how fancy it looked!
Caroline had originally signed up to unicycle,
the talent show got snowed out TWICE and she
ended up changing her mind.
Whitney had to work that night.
I played the piano on a song I hadn't really practiced.
There were some really fun acts!
Sister Dudley invited the YW out to her family
farm on a Saturday in Feb.
Two of their goats had just had babies
and we got to meet them.
Oh my gosh!
They were SO SO SO cute.
I loved hanging out with them.
Sunset
My peace lily bloomed!
Hooray!
We've had this plant since Grandpa Ranquist died.
I can't remember for sure what year that was,
but I know it was before we moved into this house in 2007.
Wow!
That plant is older than Caroline!
An example of what Wordle looks like.
Yellow guesses are in the word, but
in a different spot. Greens are thee right
letter in the right spot.

Andrew and I played LOTS of Wingspan
during his recovery. He was out of work for 10 days,
but his pain was very manageable, so we took
full of advantage of our time together. :)
We're bird nerds!
For those first two weeks, he couldn't put ANY weight on his right foot.
Upstairs he would use a walker or just crawl around.
When he was downstairs, he could use this little
knee scooter that Jen Hall let him borrow.
Weeeee!
