What the Rest of April Looked Like

One of Whit's Christmas gifts was tickets to
a Jacob Collier concert. He is one of her fave
musicians. The concert wasn't until April.
It was SO MUCH FUN!

There were LOTS of people in line!

It was at the Fillmore,
where we'd never been.
And it was general admission.

Good thing we're tall!
We had a great view from our spot.
I didn't realize GA meant that we'd
be STANDING the whole time.
It was ok, but I wish I would've
worn more comfortable shoes.

Jacob is a super creative musician.
He uses random things as instruments.

And he's known for having lots of audience involvement.
I didn't want to spend much time videoing,
but here's a little snippet of what he sometimes
does with his audience members.

So fun!

Sisters Bartholomew and Jensen came over
to share a lesson with us.
It had a cool visual to go along with it.

Kinda hard to see, but this is a mama duck
with her babies gathered around her.
So cute!

Lunch at Cava with Maureen and Bea
on a super windy day! Ha!

My azaleas are looking amazing right now.

Gerbera daisies are supposed to be annuals,
but mine keep coming back every year.

They make me so happy!

Whit took a game design class this semester.
Her board game is called Guinea Pig Dash.
She put SO MUCH work into it and needed
playtesters. We were happy to try it!

The leaves are coming back on our trees!
Love spring!

It has been a SLOW process to get the Pleasant Garden Ward
up and running. So. many. callings.
This month, the new Relief Society Presidency was called.
Me, Jody, Rebecca, April
Rebecca is President.
I'm 1st counselor.
April is 2nd counselor.
Jody is secretary.
I LOVE working with these women!
But it's kind of overwhelming to staff a new RS from scratch.
And ministering assignments!!

Date night!
Andrew and I tried a new-to-us Mexican restaurant
called Cu-li-chi.

The food was good,
but the entertainment was FANTASTIC.
Live band with lots of energy.
Super fun.

Miss Whit's birthday!
Having older kids makes parties so easy!
She organized the whole thing herself.

Happy Little Tree Mints

Joya, Skyler, Abigail, Mason

Such a great group of friends!

Aila was also there, but had to leave early.

Didn't she do a good job on her cake???

The Sisters invited our girls to learn a song and make
a video with Sister Bartholomew on the guitar.
It was so cute, but we only got one take in before
it started raining. Boo. Not sure if it actually made it
on social media.

Whit's other Christmas gift:
Tickets to Hamilton at the Tanger Center!
We went to dinner at Pita Delight first.
Yum.

Yes yes yes!
We had watched the musical on Disney+, so we knew
what to expect. But it just doesn't compare to watching in person!
The choreography and staging and lighting
add SO much to the show.
Loved it.

Bird of prey on the fence at JMS.
I think it's a Red Shouldered Hawk.

We got our little container garden planted again!

Strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers,
lemon balm, and some little flower that I
forgot the name of.

Care Bear was a great helper!

Hoping for a good harvest!

Here's where we at for gas prices right now.

Date night at another new-to-us Mexican restaurant:
Cabo Grill in Archdale.

Andrew won his fantasy basketball league again.
Woo hoo!

Care Bear is still LOVING aerial silks.
She is learning new things every week.
And perfecting the moves she's already learned.
So fun to watch.

Tony got to speak for the BYU devotional this month.
It was on temple covenants and it was WONDERFUL.

Tree frog in our front yard.

Geocaching date

Our cute YW at our first Pleasant
Garden activity.
