What February Looked Like

I bought this copy of the Book of Mormon years ago in Palmyra.
It's what the book would've looked like when it was first printed.
No verses, footnotes, or chapter headings.
It reads more like a story, with paragraphs.

I have set a goal to read the Book of Mormon more
regularly and I'm trying out reading this version.
It's been good so far!

I bought this Lego Supra for Drew a while back.
He loves Supras. But... doesn't love Lego.
So it has been sitting in the box collecting dust.
I finally put it together for him.
Because I DO love Lego!

We had a fun date night in Feb.
First we went Downtown to a free concert in an
art gallery. It was cool music and one of the guys
even played a didgeridoo! It's a crazy instrument!

Then we stopped by GTCC to look through their telescopes.
We FINALLY got to see that comet we've been hunting!
It wasn't as spectacular as I was hoping for...

We thought it was so cute that C
was holding her piggie like a baby!

Isn't she adorable?

New bird out on the feeder.

Northern Mockingbird.
We see them around a lot, but not usually
at our feeder.

The YW did a fundraiser for camp.
It was a spaghetti dinner and dessert auction.
We made Cindy's homemade oreos.

We got to sit with Carrie and the Watkins'.

The YW also had a talent show.

Caroline even busted out her unicycle!

They worked HARD and earned some good money.

I love it when B is featured on Contact Climbing's
social media pages. :)

Naomi got baptized!
I'm SO, SO happy for her.
Ethel is a dear friend, more like family.
Naomi is her daughter-in-law.
She started learning about the church a few
months ago and chose to be baptized.
She's awesome.

I got to speak at her baptism.

Date night at Crafted Tacos.
So good!

Also stopped by BoxCar, where we
killed Space Invaders!

And had fun playing old school Tetris, too.

Wingspan App

More beautiful silks pics

I love watching her improve.

Pretty sunset

Grandma and Grandpa were in St. George
with the Amy and Dave and their kids.
and got to see B-train

Whit was working,
but they stopped by to see her in the drive-thru.

So fun.

Speaking of Chick-fil-A, they started selling
Cauliflower sandwiches.
I loved it!
Caroline didn't.

We saw a Ruby Crowned Kinglet
outside our window.
Isn't his little Ruby Crown cute???

Also saw a dark-eyed Junco.

And a yellow-rumped warbler!
One of our favorites!

Look at his little butter butt.

I didn't realize they had a little yellow crown, too.

We went birding around the neighborhood lake.
It's always crazy to see herons
up in the tippy tops of trees.

Also saw lots of cormorants.

A tree full of them.

This was the funnest wordle!
I was so happy to get it in TWO.

Andrew was not so lucky.

I stopped by Dawn's house to help teach her how to
make bag mats. She is an angel and wanted to find
ways to be able to serve from home.

Even though it's only Feb, some of trees are starting to pop!

I've had my car for less than a year and have over
28k miles on it. Ridiculous.

I love it when the earth springs back to life!

Birdwatching at the Piedmont Enviromental Center.
It's so much easier in the winter when there are no
leaves on the trees!
Titmouse

Downy woodpecker

Chickadee

Cardinals

Gas is down to $3.04 now. Hooray!

Beautiful sunrise over Adams Farm Lake

Great Blue Heron

Pied Billed Grebe

While gas prices are going down,
egg prices are skyrocketing!
It's ridiculous!

Back to the Environmental Center for more birding. :)
We are definitely turning into old people.
Especially since Andrew can't play tennis yet...

Pine warbler

Fire pit night!
Caroline is so good at starting our fires
with her flint and steel.
She'll be ready for Survivor someday.

Yummy smores

I forgot to take "before" pics,
but I spent HOURS cleaning out the
playhouse. It was a gigantic mess.

It felt so good to get it organized.

C's first school dance!
Looking good!

While she was at her dance, Andrew and I
went to go watch Kristen in Seussical the Musical.

She did fantastic and it was so fun to watch.

New recipe:
Homemade Ramen.
Oh my gosh. So good.
I loved it.

Temple day by myself.
Loved it.

When we get dandelions in our yard,
I pick them and feed them to the piggies.
They LOVE eating them up.
It's fun.
