What the Rest of November Looked Like

Google had been doing such a good job of putting my
pics in the right order! But it decided to go backwards this time...
You can kinda see my Christmas projector lights on the house.
That's about the extent of my outdoor decorating.

Fun tennis at Starmount to celebrate Julie's birthday.

Caroline is still going strong at
silks and LOVES it.

I thought this was hilarious.
This was an actual weather map.
Ninety percent chance of AVOCADO
in East Texas and Louisiana.

Woo hoo!
I'm killin it in Duo!!
I should totally be fluent by now...

I went to a bird club meeting at the library
where a rescue place had birds of prey to show us.
It was awesome!

I forgot what this little owl is called.

Barred owl

Red shouldered hawk

Red-tailed hawk

I do wordle in both Spanish
and English every day.
I thought this one was crazy.
I didn't realize there were so many
-UEGO words.

Had Sisters Udall and Fowler over for dinner.

Had a fun re-visiting girls camp activity at church.
I'm enjoying being in RS, but I do miss hanging
out with these awesome YW.

Celebrated Andrew's birthday!

We went out to dinner at O'Charleys.
It was just ok.
We probably won't go back.

We rented an indoor court and got to play a little tennis.
So fun!

My 6.5 40+ team got to go to States in
Wilmington for the FIFTH time in a row!
Seriously?
That's crazy!
Sonia and I spent some time together at the beach.
It was a BEAUTIFUL week!

Yummy, yummy dinner at The Basics.
One of my favorites!

The top four teams move on after the beginning rounds.
We came SO close. We finished FIFTH out of twelve teams.

Kimmy, Julie, Casey, Stephanie, Elisabeth, Me, Amy, Brenda
Sara, Niddy, Sonia, Jennifer, Julie

I also tried to go birding at the beach.

All the seagulls look the same to me...

Hanging out with these friends is always a great time.

I played two matches,
won one and lost one in a third set tiebreak. :(

Sweats in first place!

We put up a couple new birdfeeders.
They're pretty fun.
Saw a House Finch.

Before I left for states, Andrew put together
the CUTEST healthy-snack-gram for me:
Dear Sweet Potato,
I hope at states you go nuts
squash your opponents 6-zero,
and win the champion-chips.
May you stuff the net and
your serve be as hot as a jalapeno.
The Sweat House is behind you!
Sorry so corn-y. Love, Drew

Is he the best husband or what?

Fun fall leaves in the backyard.

  1. Champion-CHIPS! That's epic! Good job at States and Caroline is a symphony of beauty on her silks! I have a bias against owls because they dive bomb eagles during the night but that owl is the cutest thing ever!

  2. That's a lot of grey hair at the bird watching meeting. (-:
That's so fun you have such a great tennis team! Now I want to try Wordle in Spanish, sounds hard.
