What February Looked Like

With Michael living in Bentonville and Shelley has recruited
help from her friends in getting her house ready to sell.
She and I spent lots of time cleaning, organizing,
staining her bathroom cabinets, and this...
putting up wallpaper in the dining room.
It was bittersweet, knowing she was going to be leaving.
But we had so much fun visiting while we worked.

We made chocolate lasagna to take to dinner with the Rosiers.

Took a weekend trip Columbia to go to the temple.
They're doing some remodeling on the spire.

After spending time in the temple,
we got to spend time with Marianne and Patrick,
who recently moved here! So excited to have them close!
We had fun playing Snow White Mining game and eating treats.

We went to the temple again on Sat morning,
and met them for lunch afterward at Lizard's Thicket.
Two Arizona girls in the Carolinas.

It was our first time meeting Eden,
their sweet daughter.
She was on the shy side and a little intimated by us.

Caroline got to go home with Lilli after school
when we headed to the temple. They went to the park
and walked Lilli's dog, Gabby. She loved it.

Valentine's dinner...
Whitney is in the midst of Shrek rehearsal, so missed it.

Girls Night Out!

Still dominating Space Invaders

Second quarter awards ceremony

Joseph, one of my seminary students,
brought me tulips! So sweet!

Young Men's basketball season has started!
Brandon doesn't seem as excited about it this year.

Daffodil season

Andrew still has hops!

Loved catching this father-son coaching
moment at halftime.

Drew trying to show him how to box out.

Our LAST Pilot Valentine's Dance.
These two had a great time together.

I worked the concession stand.
Did you know that people use TWO DOLLAR BILLS??
I didn't.

I love it when C helps me in the kitchen!

B NEEDED to get all A's in the first semester to
qualify for the academic scholarship at Dixie State.
And he did it!

We had beautiful, spring-like weather one day and I
talked Care Bear into playing tennis with me. So fun!

Those three days of 70* weather were followed by a quick drop.
High of 63* then a high of FORTY SIX*. What???

Drew had a work trip to Ohio.
And (of course) that was when the kid's toilet decided to break.
I am capable of doing many things around the house,
but toilets are NOT my thing.
I was pretty proud of myself when I was able to diagnose and fix the problem.

I get to watch Natalie's twins sometimes.
It is the best! They are such good boys.

New Mia Maid class presidency,
Whitney, Ivy, and Mallory

I love, love, love playing the piano for Whit while she sings.
Since we usually perform together in Sacrament meeting, we aren't
able to record them. I recorded us rehearsing this time so we could share.
Oh, I love Whitney's voice.
And this sweet, powerful song.

Finished our new lighthouse puzzle.
