2020 was the year of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Tell us what you liked about 2020:  Lots of time at home. And time to draw and play piano. I got to sleep in a lot. And masks are pretty comfy.

What was hard about 2020: Having to do online school.

Some of your favorite memories from 2020:  My friends decorating my driveway with chalk for my birthday. Us all jumping and shouting when I got my job. 

If you could sum up 2020 in one phrase, what would it be? In these unprecedented times..

Something you're good at: Singing. Drawing. Driving.

Something you're proud of: Starting my own small business, PaperMint Co.

Something you learned this past year: How to be nice to people when they're being rude to you.

Favorite recent reads: Divergent, Beyonders, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, The Secret series

What did you earn, win, or accomplish this year? Scoring a 98 at solo MPA. (A music judging event)

Any other changes or events from 2020? Getting my license.

What do you like about being 16 years old? Being able to drive.

Who are your closest friends? Joya, Skylar, Abigail

What's a compliment you receive regularly? You're such a good singer!

What can usually make you smile? Songs that I like. Watching the sun set on the Koury Convention Center when I'm at work. It's stunning. All the colors on the big building.

How would you describe your style? Anything that I like at the thrift store. A cute-ish shirt and jeans.

Did you get better at any sports? I got considerably worse

Did you get to go to YASE? No!

Did you buy some really good markers? No.

Did you learn US History? Yes

Did you get a job? Yes! I work at Chick-fil-A.

*Goals for 2021: I would like to keep working and get better grades than last year and maybe get some more commissions and go on a date.

Hobbies: Drawing, reading (mostly books that I've already read), scrolling through the Gram, and playing piano

Something you like about online school: I don't have to wake up early.

Something you don't like about online school: I literally don't learn anything.

A job you might want when you're older: Dental Hygienist

A pet you wish your mom would let you have: I don't want any pets.
