Christmas Aerials Recital Dec 2024

Caroline has been taking classes with Sabrina since fall of 2021. Every year we have tried to work out a friends and family recital, but it always ends up being planned super last minute and it has ended up being only family--no friends. This year it worked out with our schedule to ACTUALLY invite other people than just our little family.

Caroline made the cute digital announcement.

And we had a bunch of friends who were able to make it. Yay!
Sabrina and I didn't have great communication and it wasn't until
I got there that I realized there WEREN'T CHAIRS for everyone!
Several of us had to sit on the floor.
For young people that works fine,
but if we do it again, I'll make sure to ask more questions...

Her biggest fans!
(Minus B, who had to head home and missed the recital--
darn adult responsibilities.)

And Sabrina,
her fantastic coach!

The studio was all decked out in holiday colors.

She did four routines-- silks, straps, hammock, and lyra.
Here are some still shots from the straps.

This is her newest apparatus.
And since she drives herself to class now,
I don't get to see the progress like I used to.
She did phenomenal.

And here are a few little clips of highlights

I LOVED that they incorporated some ASL into the recital.
So pretty!

And if you have more time and watch to watch all
of her routines, here you go:

ASL and Hammock

Lyra

Silks

Straps

I'm so impressed with Caroline's dedication and hard work that she puts into her aerials. She works her butt off every week and gets so few opportunities to share. She's a hard worker and I'm so proud of her. I'm glad a few friends got to watch her for the first time and be as wowed as I am every time I watch. :)
