Beautiful forests.
Lots of waterfalls.
More wildlife.
We TOTALLY lucked out on our visit to Old Faithful.
We found a parking spot,
walked up,
and it erupted within five minutes.
Seriously????
So cool!
I can't imagine being the first people who came across
this place. Boiling water just spews out of the earth? What?

Excelsior Geyser Crater
One of our favorite spots in the whole park:
Grand Prismatic.
The colors are so vivid!
Unbelievably beautiful.
One of the Fountain Paint Pots.
There are areas of tree graveyards.
Kinda spooky-looking.

Pretty waterfalls seemed to be surrounding us all the time!
A beautiful buck with majestic horns.
I think I was getting a little to up close and personal with these bison!!!
Picturesque lakes with incredible reflection.
Hiking together was too fun!!
This was one of the most amazing experiences of mine in Yellowstone!

A great way to end our visit, me spotting a bald eagle way up in the treetops!
Thank you, come again!

seriously beautiful!! You saw a mama bear and her cub? That's once in a lifetime. What fun to be with Care BEAR when you did this trip!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics!!
ReplyDeleteLol. Love that last pic. And Caroline's insights. What a great place to visit! So breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteCaroline, Sorry to be nit picky, but I am quite certain that the Mama and baby deer were actually elk and that the beautiful buck with the magnificent horns was actually a bull elk. I am jealous. I have wanted to get back to Yellowstone for some time and haven't made it.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! We needed Grandpa with us to teach her the difference! :)
