Whit's Graduation, My Birthday, and Myrtle Beach with Family

 Aw, man!
Blogger had been doing such a good job of
putting my photos in the right order!
But this one ended up backwards.
Darn.
From the end, to the beginning!

There's a new Buc-ee's in Florence, SC!!
It only adds about 15 minutes on to our drive.
So worth it!!

B-train, Destiny and her family, and my parents were
all able to make it out for W's graduation. Hooray!
We rented a beach house in North Myrtle for a few days
after graduation. It was so fun!

Trini and Bubba are ADORABLE.

We went to watch Top Gun Maverick while we were there.
It was great!
I just wish I would've re-watched the original first.

We had a couple of great beach days.
Trini was good at building and decorating sand castles.

Sometimes Dest would help her.

MB22!

Robby, Bubba, Olivia, Quinn, Destiny, and Trinity

We stayed at the beach house four nights.
Each family took a turn cooking and then
we went out to eat one night.
Most of our family wanted to go out for seafood,
but some of us aren't big fans.
So we split up.
Destiny and I took the littles and Care Bear
out to an Irish Pub.

With an authentic Irish fiddler!

It worked out perfect.
We were super happy with our dinner.
And the seafood-eaters loved theirs, too.

Our house had a pool, so that was a fun alternative to
the beach when we didn't want to get sandy.

My cute parents

Me and Drew chilling under the umbrella.

Destiny with her littles

On Wed night, I talked Drew into taking me
to Dave and Buster's for their half price night.
Coin pushing! Yes!

One morning, Andrew wanted to take some
of our family members to Top Golf.
But we knew not everyone would enjoy it.
So we split up again.
Dest and I took my girls and her three youngest
down to the boardwalk.

Trini had me follow her around It's Sugar and
take her picture with some of the oversized candy. Ha!

We also spent some time at Fun Plaza,
another one of my favorite arcades.

The girls and I love playing the Baseball Pinball game.
None of us won this time, though.

There's a Ripley's Believe it or Not exhibit nearby.

Cool gorilla statue out of tires

Bubba really latched onto Andrew while they were here.
It was the cutest thing.
He called Andrew "Big Bro".
So Drew started calling him "Little Bro."
Bubba always wanted to sit by Drew and
have Drew carry him.

The girls shared a room downstairs.
They spent lots of time there watching stuff
on W's iPad.

Jumping pic

I LOVE walking on the beach at sunset.
Andrew couldn't walk far this time because of his darn foot.

Game night!
Telestrations is the best!
We laughed SO MUCH.
Olivia and Quinn love games more than my kids.
I loved having willing game buddies every day.

Our place also had a shuffleboard outside.

Relaxing at the pool.

Care Bear got buried at the beach

W relaxed in the sun.

Drew and B hung out.
I love the beach a lot more than my kids.
They would only stay for an hour or two.
I would stay another hour or two. :)

Sisters!

B and C are so cute together.
It was great having him home for a couple weeks.

25 Words or Less game night

Taking pictures on the beach at sunset is one of
my very favorite things!

Destiny and her family left before I could have them
take a group photo of us! Dangit!
I wanted a vertical one,
but we only got this selfie.
It is a good family photo, though.

Drew's heels weren't ready for this.
He paid the price the next day.

Love B's one-handed handstand

This one is so cool!

Jumping kids

This is how I picture my ninja kick.
Ha ha ha!
Not even close!

Robby and Destiny brought their two oldest kids out to
Myrtle Beach in 2013 to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary.
They had fun seeing some of the same spots they remembered.

Windy hair!

Our house from the front.
It was in the second row,
which is often where I like to stay.
Not as expensive as beachfront,
but still a super easy walk to the beach.

Apples to apples

Whit's graduation was the day before my birthday.
So I got to have lots of family with me to celebrate!
Hooray!

Sweet Robby mowed my lawn for my birthday!

Care Bear went to a stake dance that night.

I thought it would be fun to try SoftGolf in Clemmons.
We divided into two groups.
B, Care Bear and Olivia were with me.

It was fun!
It uses a big, soft ball.
And the holes are short.

We also stopped in Winston at my favorite gelato place.
Yum!

There's a fun park in walking distance,
so we packed a lunch and ate there and let the kids play.

B is such a good big cousin!
I love watching him play with little kids.

My other birthday request:
Hiking at Hanging Rock to Lower Cascades.
It's the perfect little hike.

Trini taught us some hula moves.

Olivia and Quinn liked getting their feet wet.

More hula moves.

Smallest jumping pic ever.
Look close!
Their feet are off the ground!

The hiking crew!

After W's graduation,
she chose to have us eat dinner at Poblanos.
Notice that Little Bro is sitting next to Big Bro. :)

Graduation!!!
I'm so happy that W has such a small graduating class.
I think there were 35 students.
That makes for a short and sweet graduation program!
Yippee!

Siblings!

Me and my girl!

Her friend group,
just missing Aila

With her Aunt Destiny

And her grandparents

Ready to do great things!

We're so proud of her.

There's a vertical family picture!

Whitney's fan club

So happy we ran into her 4th grade teacher,
Ms. Roberts while we were there!

Weeeee!
The whole program took just under an hour,
which is perfect for a graduation!

Her big moment walking across the stage

Her chorus performing at graduation.
It's super hard to see them,
but she has a solo and sounds SO good.

Whit was one of the top 5 students in her class,
so she was asked to speak at graduation.
Her role was welcoming everyone.
She did a great job.

Joya and Whit--
one of her besties for the last 7 years!

So happy for all the support she had.
It's not easy when you live so far from family!

Earlier that day, we took the kids to City Lake Park.
We rented pedal boats, which was fun.

Robby took his girls.

It's hard work!

We originally tried to take them to a cool new
children's museum in HP that looks AMAZING,
but apparently you have to reserve tickets
and they were all sold out for that morning.
Boo.
Instead we stopped by this giant chest of drawers. Ha!

One night we made bracelets together.

It's always great to have B back home!!!

One morning, I took the kiddos to LeBauer Park in
downtown Greensboro. It was fun, but a little too hot to
enjoy for long.

It was a fabulous week spent with family. I'm grateful for Whit and am excited to see what the future holds for her!
