What April 2024 Looked Like

Bucees stop on the way home from the cruise!

I reached a 1500 day streak on Duolingo.
I asked Whitney to do it for me while we were cruising. Ha!

There was an eclipse!
NC wasn't in the zone of totality.

But it was still cool to watch.

Mark's family and my parents went to San Saba
and he took this pic of totality there. Awesome!

I was actually tutoring the Khats when it happened,
so we went outside to watch it. Love it!

Dinner

My Dad won our March Madness bracket!
He got a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate as a prize.

I invited all the Stake Presidents and their wives to
go to the temple together. Only the Pages and the Snows
were able to join us. We went out to dinner together
afterward and it was so fun.

Care Bear and I participated in a Bird Club
service project--cleaning up one of the waterways
near downtown.

There were only five of us that showed up,
but we got a lot of trash out of there!

Bear and I also got our garden going.

We always love doing that!

The Khats invited us to Cambodian New Year at Wat Greensboro,
the Buddhist temple here in town.

Love these beautiful costumes

We got to watch some performances.

Here we are with Sedaleak.

One of the Khat's friends that I've
met a few times at their house.

With Sedaleak and Mint (I think?)

Lots of the Khats and their friends.

It was dental hygienists' week.

The office gave us fun personalized cups!

I love seeing baby animals on my walks in April

How cute are they?

My daisies keep coming back every year!

Sweet Old Bill's date night. Yum

We got to watch Whitney's spring concert.
Her last one. I'm so grateful for technology
that allows to catch a glimpse of her choir.

More babies

Turtles on a log

Bunny

My azaleas were BURSTING with blossoms this year.

April is perfect weather for a backyard picnic.

And birding

And attending a cute little festival in Mebane.

This dinner was delicious and probably took 27 days off of
our lifespans with the amount of fat and calories in that thing.
