Went out for Mexican dinner for our anniversary date.

Relief Society Temple Trip with Elvira and Dawn

Fun summer tennis against good friends.

Julie was my partner and we played against Amy and Michele.

I've been doing English tutoring with the Khats through 

World Relief for a year now, but I recently also signed up

to pick up newly-arrived refugees at the airport.

This was my sign for a Swahili-speaking family.

Caroline actually wanted to come along to a 

Grasshoppers game. We were so excited for her to join us.

It was a fun night at the ballpark.

Our big home improvement project this

year was to have all of our trim painted

and gutters replaced.

Andrew wasn't super excited about the project.

But it looks so good!

I didn't do a good job taking "before" pics, but

trust me that it was needed!

Maureen and Bea took me out for my birthday.

I chose Little Tokyo, which is always SO good.

I had to work on my birthday!

Since I only work one day a week, I felt like 

I couldn't take it off.... Ugh.

So we went out to Cheesecake Factory a night early.

I hadn't eaten there in years. It was so good!

Caroline's birthday party!

She just had several friends over for games, pizza, and cupcakes.

They played games and had a great time.

Sister Mellman finished her mission, but

was back in town for a baptism. So good to see her!
