What October Looked Like

Andrew took a random day off work for us to play.
We went hiking up at Hanging Rock.
Lower Cascade Falls

Tory's Den cave

Tory falls? Maybe?

I spy my favorite guy.

Fun seminary activity

Building a strong foundation

Progressing Ballet Technique

Caroline was asked to be on the Safety Patrol!

I LOVE watching football, but hardly ever get a chance to play.
One evening, I talked Andrew into heading up to the park and
running routes for me. So fun!

Parent observation week at dance

Such a beautiful dancer!

My 6.5 combo tennis team won our local season! Woo hoo!
Off to states!

Another hurricane?
Michael took us kind of by surprise.

The skies looked ominous.

It was interesting that Florence, which got A LOT
more publicity, really just felt like a rainstorm.
Michael definitely FELT like something more.

We DID lose power this time.
Lucky us, though.
We hooked up our generator and still had TV and power.

Since several schools were without power,
school was canceled that Friday.
The weather was actually fine, though.
C came geocaching with Andrew and I.

We found a teeny-tiny cache!

More dance classes

Post-tennis Burger Batch shake.
YUM!!!

Another bouldering competition

These kids work SO HARD.
I love watching them compete.

C took second place again!

C's field trip to Discovery Place in Charlotte

This chemistry lab was the coolest.

If you finished all the experiments in the lab,
you could hold fire!

Wow!

It was held at High Point University this year.

Always love hearing these talented kids put together
great numbers with just two days of rehearsing.

Post-concert ice cream

The armor of God

PGSA concert

Ragsdale concert ON THE SAME NIGHT.
While Andrew was out of town!

It was a flurry of activity, but C and I managed to hear both kids!

C invited Sarah to come to the Trunk or Treat with us.
They had fun in their matchy Hogwarts costumes
